Using the guides
The guides, parts lists, and code on this site are provided free for personal and classroom learning. Teachers may print and share them with their students with attribution to hobbyrobots.in. Republishing them as your own content, or selling them, is not permitted.
Safety — please read this one
Robotics involves batteries, motors, tools, and soldering irons. Work at your own risk. In particular:
- Children should build with adult supervision.
- Lithium-ion cells (18650s) demand protected cells, correct holders, and proper chargers; when in doubt, use AA packs as the guides suggest.
- Never leave charging batteries unattended, and never short-circuit a battery pack.
- If a component gets hot enough to worry you, disconnect power first and debug second.
No warranty
Content and code are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We test what we publish, but your parts, wiring, and environment differ from ours; we are not liable for damage to components, property, or persons arising from use of this site. Prices shown in guides are indicative market estimates, not offers.
Early-access plans
Plan details and pricing shown on this site describe software under development and may change before general availability. No payment is collected until your workspace is provisioned, and specific commercial terms are confirmed in writing at that point.
